Sir John Anderson Memorial Scholarship at Victoria University of Wellington 2024-25

Eligibility for Sir John Anderson Memorial Scholarship:

• Applicants must be New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, or hold a residence class visa.
• Applicants must have achieved an NCEA Level 2 Certificate endorsed with Merit or equivalent.
• Applicants must intend to enroll full-time in a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Wellington School of Business and Government.
• Applicants majoring in a discipline within the School of Accounting and Commercial Law, or related disciplines within the Commerce Faculty are given first consideration.
• Applicants intending to enroll in a joint degree with a non-commerce subject are eligible.

Application Process:

All eligible candidates must apply online to be considered for the scholarship. The application should include the following components:

• A personal statement outlining how they meet the criteria for the scholarship
• A CV of the applicant's prior education, employment, and interests
• A reference from their school’s head of commerce or another suitable teacher.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded a scholarship of NZD 6,000 per annum.
