The Sir Graham (Mont) Liggins Scholarship supports academically excellent students pursuing an honours or research master's degree in the Liggins Institute's strategic research themes.
Eligibility Criteria for Sir Graham (Mont) Liggins Scholarship at University of Auckland:
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be applying for admission to an honours or research master's degree based in and supervised by academic staff from the Liggins Institute.
- Be intending to enroll full-time in their first semester of an honours or research master's degree in the Liggins Institute.
- Be intending to undertake research that falls within one or more of the strategic research themes of the Liggins Institute.
- Have a GPA or GPE of at least 5.50 (5.00 for Māori or Pacific candidates) in the candidate’s most recent qualifying program.
Value of Sir Graham (Mont) Liggins Scholarship at University of Auckland:
Up to four annual scholarships will cover compulsory domestic tuition fees for one year. For international students, the scholarship will contribute an amount equivalent to the domestic tuition fees for their program.
