RIT First-Year Scholarship
Eligibility:
- The RIT First-Year Scholarship is available to admitted first-year students who have excelled academically and demonstrated ability in one of the following areas: Art and Design, Business and Leadership, Computing, Humanities and Social Sciences, Science and Math, or Women in STEM.
- Candidates must be nominated by their high school in their junior year and must enroll at RIT in the fall immediately after high school graduation.
Application Process:
- Nominees must be referred by their high school during their junior year.
- Once nominated, students must be admitted and enrolled at RIT to be considered for the scholarship.
Value/Benefit:
- The scholarship provides $19,000 per year ($9,500 per semester) for full-time enrollment in required coursework.
- It is renewable but cannot be combined with other RIT merit-based scholarships.
