The Natural Hazards Research scholarship is designed for university students enrolled to pursue a PhD or master's in research in areas related to NHRA, including natural hazards resilience and disaster risk reduction.
Eligibility criteria:
- Enrolled in a research higher degree at an Australian or New Zealand university have been offered a research higher degree position
- Applicants who are international students must be enrolled in their course of study before applying for a scholarship.
- Applicants must have an Honours degree of at least class 2A or equivalent.
- Applicants must be studying full time.
- Applicants must develop a project proposal that should center around a study field that is in line with the Center's announced research priorities and themes.
- Applicants are expected to undertake their research with the support of a research team and provide evidence that the proposed project is aligned with that of the supervisor and research team.
