The University of Auckland Council will make the award on the recommendation of the Deputy Head (Academic) of the School of Humanities (or nominee) in consultation with the Major/Specialisation Leader for History.
Eligibility for N.A.C. McMillan Memorial Prize 2025:
- The N.A.C. McMillan Memorial Prize will be awarded annually to a student who is enrolled full-time for a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) (BA(Hons)) or Master of Arts (MA) degree, majoring in History, who achieved the highest grade in a New Zealand History course in the student’s qualifying program.
- The student must have received an A- grade as a minimum standard.
Application Process:
Students do not need to apply for this scholarship, award, or prize or complete an online application form. It is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.
Value of N.A.C. McMillan Memorial Prize 2025:
The annual value of the N.A.C. McMillan Memorial Prize will be NZD 1,000.
