Latin America Scholarship at University of Essex 2024/25

This scholarship program is available to international applicants to the university who are citizens of the selected nations. The grant is given as a discount (£5,000) and will be taken out of your tuition in Essex in 2024–2025 during the first year of your undergraduate program.

Eligibility for Latin America Scholarship at the University of Essex:

• Only self-funded international students are eligible for these awards.
• Students must normally dwell in one of the nations listed below (for a definition of usual residence, see below).
• In October 2024–2025, students must register for the University of Essex's first year (Year 1) of a full-time undergraduate degree.
• By September 15, 2024, UCAS candidates need to actively declare Essex as their solid preference. Candidates who join Essex after being rejected by another business that was their first choice are ineligible. By September 15, 2024, Direct Applicants must accept their offer.
• The prize is non-combative with any other scholarship offered by the University of Essex.
• This grant is intended for undergraduate students in their first year of study (Year 1). 
• The selected candidates need to be available for publicity events.

Eligible Nations:

Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Venezuela, or Uruguay.

Application Process:

Students will be given this award automatically if they fulfill all the requirements for qualifying. Students don't need to fill out an application. Based on the information they provide on their application for a spot at Essex, including their country of residence and payment status, the University will determine their eligibility.
