Hira and Kamal Ahuja International Graduate Scholarship at University of Waterloo 2024

The University of Waterloo has initiated the Hira and Kamal Ahuja International Graduate Scholarship for students planning to pursue their Masters's and Doctoral courses at the university. This scholarship is made possible by a donation from Professor Hira Ahuja.

Eligibility for the Hira and Kamal Ahuja International Graduate Scholarship:

• Applicants must be graduate students registered full-time in a Master's or Doctoral program in the Faculty of Engineering.
• International students who have graduated from any of the following IITs – Delhi, Mumbai, Ropar, Roorkee, Kanpur, and Kharagpur. If an eligible candidate from IIT is unavailable, students from all NITs in India will be considered.
• Candidates should be Permanent residents of Canada who have graduated from IIT or NIT.
• Preference will be given to candidates who identify as women, who fulfill the above criteria, and wherein women are underrepresented.

Eligible Programs:

Engineering-Architecture, MBET, Chemical Engineering, Civil & Environmental Eng, Electrical & Computer Eng, Management Sciences, Mechanical & Mechatronics Eng, Quantum Computing, Systems Design Engineering.

Value of the Scholarship:

A scholarship valued at CAD 10,000 is provided annually to a full-time graduate student enrolled in a Master's or Doctoral program in the Faculty of Engineering based on academic excellence.
