Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are cordially invited to apply for the Garrurru Indigenous Undergraduate Scholarship by the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific. The Award's goal is to remedy the underrepresentation of Indigenous Australians in ANU College of Asia and the Pacific undergraduate degree programs.
Eligibility for Garrurru Indigenous Undergraduate Scholarship at Australian National University:
- The applicant must identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person and be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander lineage.
- The applicant must have an offer of admission to the bachelor's degree at ANU College of Asia and the Pacific.
- The applicant must choose from the following fields of study:
- Asian Studies,
- International Security Studies,
- Asian and Pacific Languages,
- Pacific Studies.
Value of the Scholarship:
The successful candidates are awarded a sum of AUD 15,000 per annum for the duration of a standard undergraduate program.
