ECA Ray Hart Memorial Scholarship 2024

The University of Western Australia has initiated the ECA Ray Hart Memorial Scholarship in memory of Dr Ray Hart who was a graduate of this University and the founding President of the Environmental Consultants Association (ECA). This scholarship encourages and assists a student to pursue field research in natural science.

Eligibility criteria for the ECA Ray Hart Memorial Scholarship:

• Applicants must enroll or be accepted for enrollment as full-time students in the 2024/25 academic year.
• Applicants must be enrolled in the Bachelor of Science (Honours) course or Masters course with the university.
• Applicants must intend to undertake research that includes a substantial field component and displays a multidisciplinary approach to an ecological question.

• Environmental Science
• Conservation Biology
• Zoology
• Botany
• Master of Environmental Science (72530)
• Master of Biological Sciences (72520)

Other benefits:

The scholarship recipient will be invited to attend an event organized by the Environmental Consultants Association WA and will be allowed to talk about the achievements of the research project.

Applicants need to submit an online application to be eligible for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

Successful applicants will receive an award of value of AUD 3,500.
