Dallin Walker - Game Maker Scholarship at University of Utah 2025

In January of his senior year of high school, Dallin Walker tragically passed away while he was getting ready to enter the University of Utah. Dallin was a very intelligent and gifted person who had decided to concentrate his artistic abilities on becoming a video game developer.

Eligibility for Dallin Walker - Game Maker Scholarship at the University of Utah:

• The candidate must enroll in the Entertainment Arts and Engineering program at the University of Utah and take 12 credits or more during that academic year.
• The candidate must demonstrate their need for financial assistance and be pursuing their first undergraduate degree.

Application Process:

To apply for the scholarships candidate must answer the following questions:

• Academic level beginning fall 2025
• Personal Statement (minimum 500 to maximum 700 words. PDF file only)
  • Prompt: Dallin's passion in life was video games.  He loved making them as much as he loved playing them.  Please describe your relationship with video games and the importance of making them.  
• If you have examples of games you've made, please provide links at the bottom of your statement. 

Value of the scholarship - USD 1,200 .
