CPA Australia Prize for the Most Outstanding 3rd Year Student Majoring in Accountancy at University of Canterbury 2025

The purpose of this prize is to recognise academic excellence in students majoring in Accounting at the University of Canterbury and to assist students who will be contributing to the New Zealand and international accounting environment.

Eligibility criteria for CPA Australia Prize for the Most Outstanding 3rd Year Student Majoring in Accountancy:

• The student must have completed the requirements for a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree at the University of Canterbury in the year of nomination.
• The student must have met the CPA Australia core curricular requirements.
• The student should demonstrate academic excellence, particularly in specified 300-level Accounting courses.
• The prize is available annually, but only if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
• The recipient must permit the announcement and publication of their acceptance of the award.

Value of CPA Australia Prize for the Most Outstanding 3rd Year Student Majoring in Accountancy:

Successful applicants will get an amount of $1,000.
