Eligibility criteria for the Bill Makepeace Prize in Botany:
- Applicants have completed a project or thesis in Biological Sciences at the University.
- Applicants must demonstrate a strong academic record.
- The prize is awarded by Te Kaunihera | University Council on the recommendation of the Head of the School of Biological Sciences.
- Academic performance and character in the award year are taken into account by the school head when making the recommendation.
