Tourism Employees Welfare Scholarship 2025

The Scholarship Scheme is available to employees' children who have been accepted into any accredited Mauritius university or training facility and are enrolled full-time in a program that will result in a diploma.

Eligibility for Tourism Employees Welfare Scholarship:

• The applicant must be an employee in Tourism Industry.
• The applicant must have contributed to the fund for at least 12 continuous months.
• The applicant must not be drawing a salary of more than MUR 20,000 per month.
• The applicant must either be the husband or wife where both contribute to the fund.

Application Process:

The eligible candidates must either apply online or call in person at the TEWF Office. The application should include the following components:

• National Identity Card of Applicant;
• Payroll or Bank Statement;
• Latest Pay slip;
• Birth Certificate of Ward;
• Letter of Offer from University / institution;
• Receipt of Payment for registration fees;
• Certificate of Employment (Valid for ONE month only).

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are waived off the registration or exam fees.
