The BC, MBC & Minorities Welfare Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, is providing scholarships to BC/MBC/DNC students studying UG/PG at IIT, IIM, IIT, NIT, and other central universities during the academic year 2023–2024. The chosen students will be awarded a scholarship that reimburses them for INR 2,00,000 annually, less any tuition, special fees, examination costs, and other required payments.
Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship to BC/MBC/DNC Students, Tamil Nadu 2024:
- Students need to be a domicile of Tamil Nadu.
- Students should belong to the Backward Classes (BC), Most Backward Classes (MBC), and Denotified Communities (DNC).
- Students must be enrolled in UG/PG courses in IIT, IIM, IIT, NIT, and other central universities.
- Students should have an annual family income of not more than INR 2,50,000.
