Raukaraka Leadership Scholarship at Victoria University of Wellington 2024

The Raukaraka Leadership Scholarship is aimed at supporting students who have exhibited leadership qualities, positioning them as prospective leaders in New Zealand's future. It is designed to recognize and nurture individuals with the potential to make significant contributions to society through their leadership capabilities.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The scholarship targets students who have demonstrated leadership qualities.
• Applicants must exhibit potential as future leaders within the context of New Zealand.
• Open to both domestic and international students.
• Candidates should meet the specific requirements outlined by the scholarship regulations.
• Applicants must be intending to enrol full-time in the year following application in their first undergraduate degree at Te Herenga Waka.
• Applicants must be in Year 13 or have completed Year 13 in the year prior and be taking a gap year at the time of application.

Application Process:

• A completed online application must be submitted by 4.30 pm on the closing date.

Value of the Scholarship:

Students will receive $5,000 or $10,000 for the first year of study, which can be put towards accommodation costs at a Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington hall of residence or as a contribution towards tuition fees (unless you qualify for Fees Free).
