This merit-based award is only available to international students who started their undergraduate studies at Queen's University Belfast in September 2021 (and later) and completed their program full-time.
Eligibility for Queen’s Excellence Award at Queen’s University Belfast:
Except for those enrolled in programs that need a placement year, students who attain a 75% GPA in one academic year will be given a merit-based reward at the beginning of the next academic year. Students enrolled in the placement year at Queen's University Belfast will get their award after enrolling in the following academic year. Recipients of this award may be exceptional students who maintain a minimum GPA of 75% across several years.

Application Process:
There is no need to submit a separate application for this award. After enrolling in the subsequent year of your undergraduate degree and meeting the qualifying requirements outlined in these eligibility you will automatically receive a Queen's Excellence Award if you obtain a 75% GPA after the academic year.
