University of York, School of Physics, Engineering and Technology Foundation Year Scholarships 2024

The School of Physics, Engineering, and Technology at the University of York offers Foundation Year Scholarships to outstanding students who have completed their first semester in the foundation year program. These scholarships aim to recognize and support the academic excellence of UK (home) students pursuing undergraduate degrees in specific engineering, music technology systems, and physics courses with a foundation year.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Open to UK (home) students only.
• Applicants must have received an offer for a place on one of the specified undergraduate courses with a foundation year
• BEng (Hons) Electronic Engineering with a Foundation Year
• BEng (Hons) Music Technology Systems (with a Foundation Year)
• BEng (Hons) Engineering with a Foundation Year
• BSc (Hons) Physics (with a Foundation Year)

• Candidates must complete the first semester of the foundation year to be eligible for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship :

• The funding amount is to be confirmed (TBC) for the academic year 2024/25.
• The scholarship is open to undergraduate students pursuing degrees with a foundation year in engineering, music technology systems, or physics.
• Eligible students will be considered automatically; no separate application form is required.

Application Process:

• All eligible students are automatically considered for the scholarship based on their academic performance during the first semester of the foundation year.
• There is no need to submit a separate application form for the scholarship.
