One-year Scholarships for Continuing Students at Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering 2025

Eligibility

• These scholarships are available to bachelor’s and master’s degree students currently enrolled in the College of Engineering at San José State University (SJSU).
• Each scholarship has specific eligibility criteria, such as:
• California Homebuilding Foundation - Babbitt Family Award:
  • Open to engineering majors with a particular interest in the Homebuilding Industry.
• Ichor Systems Scholarship:
  • Must be a member of BASE (Black Alliance for Student Education), Black Student Union, or National Pan-Hellenic Council.
  • Requires a minimum GPA of 2.5.
  • Available to students in all College of Engineering majors.
• Ditmore Scholarship:
  • Open to students in any major within the College of Engineering.
• Coussens Scholarship:
  • Open to full-time students in any College of Engineering major.
  • Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
• MEP Scholarship (funded by LMCO):
  • Must be a member of the MEP (Minority Engineering Program) in the College of Engineering.

Scholarship Value and Benefits

• California Homebuilding Foundation - Babbitt Family Award:
  • $2,500 per award (3 awards available).
  • Open to engineering students with an interest in the homebuilding industry.

Ichor Systems Scholarship:

• $2,500 per award (10 awards available).
• Available to students in all engineering majors who are members of BASE, Black Student Union, or National Pan-Hellenic Council.

Ditmore Scholarship:

• $3,000 per award (1 award available).
  Available to students in any engineering major.
  Coussens Scholarship:
• $3,500 per award (1 award available).
  Open to full-time students in any engineering major, with a focus on financial need.

MEP Scholarship (funded by LMCO):

• $5,000 per award (3 awards available).
• Must be a member of the Minority Engineering
• Program (MEP) within the College of Engineering.
