Four-year Scholarships for New Frosh at Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering 2025

Eligibility

• The College of Engineering Scholarships are open to bachelor's degree students who are enrolled full-time in any engineering major at San José State University (SJSU).
• Applicants must maintain a minimum 3.0 SJSU cumulative GPA and 2.7 major GPA.
• Each student can only receive one scholarship from the College of Engineering per year.
• The scholarships are available to students entering as new freshmen in Fall 2023 and are applicable to all engineering majors with preference for those who meet specific criteria.

Scholarship Value and Benefits

• Harry Wong Scholarship:$7,500 per year
• Available to students in any College of Engineering major
• Preference given to students who have faced hardship in their lives.
• Jane Evans Scholarship:$7,500 per year
• Preference given to students majoring in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CMPE), or Software Engineering (SE).
• These scholarships are renewable each year for up to four years, provided the student remains eligible.

Application Process

• Full-time Enrollment: Students must be enrolled full-time in an engineering major at SJSU.
• Minimum GPA: Applicants must meet the 3.0 cumulative GPA and 2.7 major GPA requirements.
• Submission: Apply for the scholarships based on eligibility.
• Students will be considered for all scholarships within the category they apply to.
