Eligibility Criteria for Fostering Scholars at Seattle University 2025:

Applicants must:

• Be highly motivated to attend and succeed in college.
• Be between 17–25 years old.
• Be currently in foster care (state, tribal, or federally recognized) OR have aged out of care.
• Have completed the FAFSA and qualify as “Independent Student Status” under federal financial aid guidelines.
• Be currently residing in Washington State.
• Have been offered admission or be awaiting admission decision from Seattle University as a first-year or transfer student for the fall quarter.
