This scholarship was established in 2016 by an endowed bequest from the estate of UQ alumna and music critic, Barbara Jean Hebden OAM.
Eligibility for the Barbara Hebden Music Bursary:
- Applicants can be domestic or international students.
- Candidates should be enrolled full-time in the first year of the Bachelor of Music (Honours).
Selection Criteria:
Preference will be given to applications who audition on a relevant instrument.
