Eligibility for Academic Excellence International Masters Scholarship:
- International self-funded students are eligible for this scholarship.
- Be ordinarily resident in one of the countries specified.
- Have an undergraduate degree (or Masters degree) awarded by an institution based in one of the countries listed in the table below, or an undergraduate degree awarded by an institution.
- Have met the academic requirement for that country, as specified in the table below, or have achieved a UK 2:1

The student will be given this award automatically if they fulfill all the requirements for eligibility. They do not need to fill out an application. The academic transcripts and certifications they send with their application for a spot at Essex will be used by the university to determine the applicant's eligibility.
