Domestic medical graduates pursuing a graduate research degree in surgery through the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences are eligible to apply for this $7,200 prize. In remembrance of her father, it was founded by a bequest from Kathleen Maggie Douglas.
Eligibility:
- Applicants should be an outstanding graduate research applicant, or enrolled graduate researcher, of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences.
- Candidates must be medical graduates undertaking research in surgery.
- The applicant must meet the entrance requirements for a PhD as forth by the faculty.
